An 80 year old woman raped and killed in Noida !!!!
This was the breaking news yesterday and I was wondering about the sorry state of affairs of our nation- a nation where a woman ( girl) anywhere between 8 years( I think even younger than 8 years of age children are also being molested.. ) to 80 years gets raped. Age no bar - only basis of discretion is your gender.
An argument in favour of rape is that the women are so well dressed up that they end up seducing the men involuntarily and hence the men unable to supress their animal instincts ( after all sex is one of the basic needs of a human being after food and shelter) go after the women.
I fail to understand if that was the case yesterday or was it just another man who was so very deprived of sex and so very desperate that he didnt mind hurting an woman of 80. Or rather could be a guy inspired by the latest trend in movies where in every relationship just boils down to one of lust.
I havent tried to find out more about the case, nor do I intend to.. coz the very headline has sent such shock waves all through my head that it took me a while to acknowledge that it has happened.
